    Inside has lots of great pictures and illustrations.
    Mentions the population is 6000 - it has been declining ever since.
    Has a colorful two panel map titled " Fifty Miles around Manistique The Land of Hiawatha and the Blazed Trail , and there is also a small, 1/2 panel map of Highway transportation options leading to Manistique.
