Talk about living in the past. Here's a very vintage Jethro Tull promo photo that's in good condition. Here's my theory on its history. A handwritten note on back indicates that it was used by my local newspaper to promote a Nov. 12 show at the Convention Center. That show was in 1971 for the "Aqualung" tour, according to the band's concert database. There's also a stamp saying January of 1972, which most likely means the photo wasn't officially filed away until then.
The worst of the flaws is a 1.5-inch crease on the right edge, about halfway down (pic #3). It's a significant crease that has caused light cracking to the gloss. Three of the corners have some kind of bend or crease. There's also a finger crease on the left-hand side (pic # 7).
I'm selling music, movie and television promotional material gathered over many years. They come from a working newsroom and will almost always show some sign of use but some will be unused and in excellent condition. I worked in the same newsroom and was for many years in charge of the promotional music photos, which is easily verifiable. Just check with me if you're worried about these being fakes.
Photos will be shipped in protective plastic sleeves placed in a reinforced photo mailer with additional support added via chipboard.
Please check my other listings as I'll be adding more regularly.
