Ultra Ultra RARE Jethro Tull collectible!!!
In 1996, Chrysalis (& EMI) released a very limited edition of Jethro Tull's 1971 "Aqualung" album
"The Ultimate Set" as a promo gift box only. Box contents are listed in 2nd photo.
Gift box contains (from top to bottom order):
- Message from Ian Anderson printed on paper (loose)
- 25th Anniversary Remastered CD plus extra tracks (sealed)
- Rare, Limited Edition Aqualung Picture LP (sealed)
- Jethro Tull Complete Song Lyrics book (sealed)
- 25th Anniversary Video Retrospective (sealed)
Item was sold to me as "sealed," but had 2 overlapping plastic pieces, so it was not sealed.
After taking the photos, I put the 2 plastic pieces back on (see last photo), to further protect during shipping.
Gift box is in sturdy, VG to Excellent condition with some wear (see photos), and all contents within are in Factory Sealed, Mint condition!
All photos (except 2nd) are of this actual item and its box contents.
I cannot find anywhere else (so far) where the Aqualung (front cover) character was produced onto a vinyl picture disc.
(It would make a beautiful display item.)
Item kept in a 100% smoke-free environment/home.
