Michigan State University Nut Bowl with Sparty Circa 1965

Description

This pottery bowl has a 6 inch diameter. It might have been an art class project and as such might be a one of a kind.  Sparty's helmet is under glaze.  MSU SPARTANS has been added over the glaze by hand. It was glazed on the top half with the bottom unglazed. There are 3 feet - each drilled for wall hanging. There are no problems with condition. M.S.U. is a member of the Big Ten. The Big 10 has 14 members.        1119
