Rebuild kit for late Delco CS144 alternators
This kit includes all the new parts as shown in the picture. 140-amp Rectifier, complete brush holder assembly, drive end bearing, slip-ring end needle bearing, 12-volt voltage regulator. I have also included in this kit a new capacitor, regulator-rectifier connector, bat. Stud kit, 3 uninsulated & 1 insulated screws.
This type of alternator was used on many (but not all) GM & other applications from June of 93 on. The bearing sizes for this kit are included in the specifications above.  If you are not sure if this is the correct kit for you, please ask questions. If you have an older model CS144 I have another kits available.
Because of the variety of different voltage regulators, with different circuitry used in CS series alternators, it is important to confirm that the kit you are going to order has the correct voltage regulator for your application.  For instance, this regulator will not work for a (1996-99) Oldsmobile Aurora, which requires a different regulator. I have included regulator reference numbers below to help.
