:
This auction is for a set of eleven (11) soup bowls by Aladdin Fine China in the Floralton pattern, made in Occupied Japan.
It’s a beautiful pattern, which, though 60+ years old, looks amazingly modern.
It features a beautiful peony, pink with touches of gray and yellow, and its foliage, on a white ground.
The edges are scalloped at 2” intervals and trimmed in gold.
Measurements
:
Approximately 7¾” in diameter.
Marks
:
On the underside is the Aladdin name and mark, with the word “Floralton” to identify the pattern, and the words “Made in Occupied Japan.”
Condition
:
This set is in mint vintage condition, without cracks, repairs, chips, crazing, or utensil marks.
Both the paint and gilt trim have remained remarkably free of wear.
I believe this set was never used.

In return, I promise to both make mention in the listing, and include photographs, of any and all cracks, chips, repairs, wear due to age, and any other condition issues I find.

Please keep in mind that while I try very hard to take and post photos that accurately represent the item’s color and shading, I am far from a professional photographer, and the variations between my computer monitor and yours may result in the item appearing slightly different from what you expect.

Payment

I accept payment only through PayPal.

Please pay within 3 days of purchasing, and I will ship immediately upon receiving payment.
Shipping
1.
My goal is to pack and ship your item immediately upon payment being received, and I almost always achieve that.
At unusually busy times a day or (rarely) even two might pass before the item is shipped.
Under no circumstances will more than three days elapse before your item is shipped.

I will be glad to ship internationally,
but keep in mind that your shipping cost will be more (perhaps

more, depending upon your location and the size/weight of package) than the shipping fee in the listing, to reflect the higher fees to ship internationally.
The shipping fee in the listing applies only to shipping within the 48 contiguous states of the continental United States.

The international buyer is always responsible for any custom charges, taxes or duties that may be due.

I will always ship in the least expensive manner unless expressly asked by the buyer to do otherwise.

I use recycled boxes and shipping materials whenever possible.
Returns
1.
Returns happily accepted for 30 days,
but only if the item is
significantly
different than described and pictured

Notify me within 5 days after receipt of item if you intend to return it.
b.
There will be a 10% re-stocking fee if item returned after 14 days.
c.
There will be a 25% re-stocking fee if item returned after 21 days.
2.
The purchase price of the item will be refunded only upon return of the item in the original condition in which it was sent.
3.
The buyer will assume the cost of return shipping.
