This is a beautiful John Hardy clip of silver tone metal. It is a bird of peace with a butterfly. It has great detail in it and a clip on the back, which is signed John Hardy. It is a sturdy piece, weighing in at 21 grams and measuring 1 5/8 inches by 2 5/8 inches wide. It is in great condition with minimal signs of wear. Clip could also be used by a man as a tie clip or on a lapel. Very versatile and unisex. *John Hardy is a jewelry designer with an interesting history. He designed this piece exclusively for Neiman Marcus in the 1970's. He uses a lot of bamboo and Asian designs. You may want to check him out online. I found him to be very interesting. He has a compound in Bali, where he designs jewelry, hires the people of Bali and teaches jewelry design. He also has an organic garden and a forest of bamboo.
