    FAQ:
    Question:
Do I need to install a fuse ?
NO. If you use any of the 2 existing accessory ports on G310R or G310GS, these are already fuse-protected so you're all set.
    Question:
Do I need to install a toggle switch to avoid draining my battery ?
NO. Again, if you use any of the 2 existing accessory ports,
they are power-switched. When ignition key if OFF, zero power is being drawn from the USB port.
    Question:
Do I need to buy the BMW Accessory socket as well (
    pn 61347714741 or 61347694306)?
NO. This cable already has the proper end connector that will fit what is on your bike. You don't need to install the BMW socket nor any additional Din/Hella-to-USB adapter. Our cable alone will do the job.
Question: Where on my bike can I find the connectors where I need to plug this into?
G310R: one behind the headlight in the middle of the 2 flasher units connectors. Other connector on left side tied on the frame under the tank area, nearby the bracket intended to host BMW socket.
G310GS: both connectors under the trim, left side of speedometer unit.
For reference the existing connector on the bike may be marked 7543312-02 PA66-GF25. This is what the cable sold here will connect to.
Question: I need more help, can you walk me trough the steps?
Use the photos as reference. Pictured for G310R, similar process apply for G310GS, the connectors are just in a different area.
    1. Locate and remove the protective cap fitted by the factory on one of the accessory ports. A flat screwdriver can be handy.  (Photo #1)
    2. Connect the cable to the exposed connector (Photo #3)
    3. Stick the converter part to a location of your choice (velcro strips provided). Photo #4)
    4. Route the USB cable safely up to where you need it. It can easily be fitted using the existing rubber clips. (Photo #7)
