Vintage 1940s Handmade Sweater Scarf Clip Faux Seashell Pearls Rhinestones

Description

Vintage sweater / scarf / dress clip made from faux seashells. There is a cluster of three different
sizes of faux pearls on one end of each seashell giving it a "bubbles" effect. The color
is ivory. There are clear shiny rhinestones on the bottom edge of each shell placed
approx. 1/2 inch apart. All but two rhinestones are missing from the edges of the shells.
The clips are in very good condition. Clips have a patent number on them.
There is a beaded chain of faux pearls with silver tone metal connecting
the two shells.
These are from the 1940's so they are aged
and have some paint loss on the outside of the shells.
We are not sure if the seashells used on this creation are real or made from some
sort of composite material so we will say they are faux just in case.
Dimensions:  Shells are approx. 1 1/8" across. The sweater clips
stretched out end to end on the chain are 6 3/4" long.
