A vintage scarf tube from the Ann Cahill Collection. This tube is composed of a thick gold tone metal making a slightly bent tube that can be used to thread a scarf through.
According to the "Scarf Tube" insert these pieces were designed to be worn as a necklace or a belt by threading the scarf in different variations through the tube. The insert also shows the many different ways the tubes can be used to accessorize the scarf with day to day outfits. The scarf tube has a very simple lines.
It measure 2" long by 1 3/8" wide and 5/8" thick. It comes with the original box that has a burgundy tone space for holding the tubes. The box also holds the insert which has a brief description of the scarf tube as well as 9 different examples of how the scarf tubes can be used with pictures! The front of this insert reads "The Scarf Tube Ann Cahill Collection Hingham, Massachusetts".
